It's not very often that we discover that something we love to eat is actually good for our health and our skin. Naughty but nice can be replaced with it's good and nice, at least for the rest of the week.
There are many different types of chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate with mint, orange, fruit, nuts and you name it every kind of chocolate you can think off in between.
But what's really good for our skin is the rich dark chocolate. The darker the chocolate the more natural cocoa it contains and it is the cocoa that makes dark chocolate so special and so good for our skin. The higher the levels of natural cocoa in the chocolate the better it is for our body and our skin. As a rule of thumb, look for dark chocolate that has at least 70% natural cocoa, for maxiumum benefit for your skin and body.

I can see why Kate Middleton, Oprah & Victoria Beckham rave about seaweed in their diet & skincare.
When I was at senior school one of my best friends was a girl called Joan Chung. Jo's parents were from Beijing and had been here since the 1930's. A couple of times a week, I'd go to her house after school for tea and her mum would get out this big frying pan, (I later realised it was called a wok). Her mum would put it on the highest heat possible, throw loads of different vegetables in and some green slimy stuff.
So, one day I asked Jo what the slimy stuff was, she laughed and said seaweed. She explained that she had eaten it all her life and that her parents said that it would help her to keep young and stay healthy.

My friend's husband said calmly and quietly '' why do some people make driving look so difficult when it's not''?, we both laughed and then I started to think about our skin and all the confusion and complicated messages that are around about how best to look after your skin, when really it's quiet simple.
I follow certain celebrities who have consistently had great looking skin. I really admire Halle Berry, as she looks great at 47, with or without make up and also my mother who has great looking skin too. They both share the same simple skin care routine and have done so for many years.
